My Journey
Long before I began studying healing arts, facilitating ceremonies, or guiding transformational experiences, I was learning from immersion in the natural world.
I was raised in Paradise Valley, Montana, where the mountains, the Yellowstone River, and wide-open skies cultivated an early reverence for the natural intelligence woven throughout life. What began as a personal exploration led me into years of study and practice in meditation, yoga, martial arts, energy healing, and contemplative traditions.
From a young age, I found myself drawn to questions of consciousness, healing, and human potential. Through many personal initiations, including the untimely loss of my mother, I developed a deep compassion for the suffering that we as humans experience, and an intrinsic motivation to search for the deeper threads that connect us to the soul of the world.
My studies in Healing Arts and Community Resilience provided an academic foundation for this work, while years of training in somatic practices, body work, breath work, ceremonial medicine, yoga and sound healing deepened my understanding of the human capacity for growth and expansion through cultivation of physical, mental, and spiritual alignment.
Along the way, I developed a deep appreciation for the place where science and spirituality meet, and was fortunate to learn from a diverse range of teachers, including Indigenous wisdom keepers and skilled therapeutic practitioners.
What I found was a meeting place between ancient wisdom and modern understanding, between healing and human potential, and a bridge through which to awakening with the sacred power that lives within each of us.
Today, Alia Healing Arts is the expression of that journey—bringing together academic study, therapeutic training, somatic bodywork, therapeutic vocal resonance, and an understanding of how expanded states of awareness can support healing, integration, and human potential.
